Cowan Automotive is a next-gen auto repair Topeka, Kansas shop which started in 1969. With three outlets, the business back then specialized in muffler and exhaust repair only. However, we transformed the business into a full auto repair shop when we purchased one of the muffler shops in 1985.
Through customized upgrades and state-of-the-art equipment, we have always strived to offer top-notch auto repair Topeka, Kansas services. Our story begins with one Kenny Cowan who started the business in 1969. He opened three muffler shops, which exclusively handled muffler and exhaust repair. In 1985, Hank Tetuan bought one of the shops, equipped it with the required tools and machinery and upgraded it to a full auto repair Topeka, Kansas shop.
Currently, the business is family-operated and owned by Hank Tetuan and Roberta Tetuan (wife). Since his high school years, Hank has always been a mechanic and prides himself with an experience of over 49 years.
Roberta, Hank's wife, started working in the shop in 1986. Since then she has served in administrative capacity and bookkeeping. Their son Henry Tetuan has been the Service Advisor for 10 years. Henry started working as a Technician in 2003 after graduating High School and worked his way into the Service Advisor position. He's very knowledgeable about vehicles. He also develops content for the business service page and maintaining their website.
